    What it does

    PARKED to purgatory 2026-07-08 — likely deletion candidate. Ships nowhere and FEATURE_WAV2VEC2 remains defined on no shipping target. The macOS-only FeatureWav2Vec2 package makes the architecture seam complete, but does not change the distribution wall: scripts/build-wav2vec2-runtime.sh still compiles the py-ai-dev/wav2vec2.cpp CLI plus a Python conversion environment, no pre-converted GGUFs are published, and a self-compiled unsigned subprocess cannot ship in notarized/App-Store builds. File-transcription-only, ~3× RTF. Revive only with an in-process static C target (no subprocess/signing) or an otherwise sanctioned compile/sign/distribution path.
