Data Storage
All data is stored locally on your device. Delete the app to remove all data permanently.
Apple Enhanced Transcription
Local AI Cat offers an optional "Apple Enhanced Transcription" feature that uses Apple's servers for improved accuracy. This feature is off by default.
If you choose to enable it, your audio may be processed by Apple's servers. This is governed by Apple's privacy policy, not ours. We have no access to this data - it's strictly between you and Apple.
For maximum privacy, keep this setting disabled and use our built-in offline Whisper transcription.
